Fortunately for DanubeDC, there is an increasing demand for high-quality data center space. The data center at Floridotower is near-completely utilized due to the needs of our new customers. Since some time ago we are actively promoting projects to expand our capacity.

Ideally, the requirements for a further data center are as following:

• At a distance of min. 5 km, max. 15 km of Floridotower
• Closeness to one or two power transformer stations 
• Availability of fiber optic connections 
• Solid basic structure of the building
• At least 3.000 m2 of effective area 
• Protectable against unauthorized access
• Apart from main traffic roads or public transport 
• Locally, no need for regular workplaces

Outwards, a data center appears absolutely neutral: no emissions, no noise, less passenger traffic, no stench, no advertising labels.

Currently several projects are under examination and have to be verified regarding their feasibility. We expect a final decision in the very same year and will start implementation immediately.
